Various leisure and sports activities are offered in the town centre, and the nearby Krumker Park is a popular destination for excursions. Osterburg has a primary and a secondary school as well as a grammar school. All shopping facilities are available. The federal highway 189 runs through Osterburg, so you can reach Stendal in about 15 minutes by car. 

The property is located in the Schmersau district, about 13 kilometres west of Osterburg.
