Description of the location

The property is located in the municipality of Steinweiler, which is situated in the Southern Palatinate between Landau in der Pfalz and Karlsruhe and belongs to the municipality of Kandel. If you prefer village living, but are still looking for proximity to the city, this is the place for you. The charming village with its mix of historic half-timbered houses, farms and modern buildings is attracting more and more families. Two kindergartens and a primary school are available for the youngest residents. Secondary schools are available in Kandel, Landau, Wörth or Bad Bergzabern. The Klingbach and Erlenbach valleys are ideal for local recreation: the idyllic surroundings can be explored on well-maintained hiking and cycling trails. A lively club life brings the 2,000 inhabitants together actively. Regular events can be attended in the community centre. Every year in September, the "Open Farm Day" takes place, on which local businesses present their products and facilities. The "Historic Village Festival", which takes place every two years, is also very popular. Basic services are provided in the village centre by several service providers and shops. Steinweiler can be reached via the L554, which leads to the nearby A65. The railway station on the western edge of the village has two regional trains (RB51 and RB53) and a RegioExpress (RE6), providing fast connections to the surrounding towns. It takes about 10 minutes by car to reach Kandel, and Karlsruhe can be reached in about half an hour.
