Farmland Valle de Malacatos

Highly productive coffee farm equipped to harvest, dry and store coffee grains. Currently 4 hectares are cultivated with coffee, mixed with lemon, orange, banana, mango, and other fruit-trees (in lesser amount). There are >7 hectares of grassland to increase coffee production, or other uses.

The property holds two sources of water-supply for irrigation-only, plus potable water for in-house-use. A 1030 m³ reservoir stores water and supplies it thru a fully functional irrigation system (~3.7 hectares coverage). In addition, the farm maintains a metallic green-house structure (15x6 mt), coffee-drying roofed area (10x3 mt), machinery and tools for in-farm-labors.

Malacatos, the town where it stands, is a beautiful valley with a permanent pleasant weather, no-mosquitoes, paved roads, and 40-minute away from the Catamayo Airport. This piece of land sits a few kilometers ways from the Podocarpus National Park, making it an incredible spot for bird-watching and breathtaking countryside scenery.
